From her first pre-school samplers Hilary Jane has loved embroidery design and stitching. With personally designed embroidery, exquisitely stitched, your Wedding dress could not be more unique or special.

Machine Embroidery

Over many years as a designer dressmaker Hilary Jane has forged links with quality specialist suppliers. Machine embroidery is available in vast array of colours across a multitude of standard designs types (Celtic, ivy, flower etc), all are carefully adapted to the design and line of your Bridal gown; or for a unique look freehand machine embroidery can be sourced.

Bespoke Beading Designs

From simple trim to elaborate design, Hilary Jane creates stunning bead work using pearls, Swarovski crystals, sequins, delica and rocaille beads. Either toned to match the fabric of your Bridal gown or in a contrast co-ordinated to the colour theme of your special day the result is a true heirloom to cherish.

Applique & Celtic Work

Contemporary styles have introduced appliqué work to Hilary Jane’s portfolio. Using braids and beads, or delicate silk flowers made from the fabric of your Wedding dress, appliqué is a simple means to create a stunning unique look which is especially adaptable to asymmetric designs and motifs.

Bespoke Designs for Recent Wedding Dresses

Recent Bridal commissions include pale blue silk chiffon over satin trimmed with a scatter of self fabric silk leaves; a medieval style Wedding Dress in gold silk chiffon embellished with a bespoke design of Celtic braid and bead work in gold and ruby; and a classic design in ivory silk dupion with a hand embroidered train echoing the lace design of the bodice fabric.
